			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><em>You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God. </em><strong>1 Peter 3:4</strong></p>
<p>&#8220;I need a new wardrobe.&#8221; &#8220;I wish I had her body.&#8221; &#8220;I&#8217;ll never look good enough.&#8221;</p>
<p>Ever had a thought like that?  We may not be in the habit of saying these shallow things out loud, but all of us have thought them. We find ourselves filled with anxiety over our appearance&#8211;to the extent that we quickly slip into compare-and-criticize mode. It&#8217;s a common feeling among women, and it is obviously contrary to what the Bible says.</p>
<p>Our beauty should come from within us, not outside us. The Bible tells us that beauty is found in having a gentle and quiet spirit. Loveliness grows out of living a life centered on God and the contentment found in his love. Outward beauty will fade. But a gentle and quiet spirit is unfading beauty. True beauty really does come from within.</p>
<p>We women have such beautiful potential in Christ&#8211;he has created us to bless the world in ways that men cannot. But sometimes we reject this potential without even realizing it, by simply choosing to focus on the temporary, fleeting, and false sense of beauty.</p>
<p>How do we develop a gentle and quiet spirit? Sometimes it&#8217;s in the little things&#8211;looking in the mirror less often, for instance. When I am tempted to stare at myself and criticize, I choose to stop and praise God for blessing me with a working body&#8211;a body that can be used to further God&#8217;s kingdom. It may be posting verses about true beauty in your bathroom. Most importantly, it&#8217;s finding time to just sit and rest with God. Set aside the world&#8217;s and your own expectations and allow him to work in your life. Let him develop in you the &#8220;unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit.&#8221;</p>
<p>Be encouraged, be blessed, be beautiful.</p>

<p>When I say this will be a liberating session, I mean your life will never be the same. You will receive all the tools of empowerment to make radical life changes from the inside out.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In silence the power moves, things begin to shift, change begins to happen, truth is revealed, prayers are answered, ideas are manifested, dreams are made a reality, business&#8217;s are birthed and life finds its value in you then you begin to see your authentic self. Make time for dedicated prayerful silence, rest, reflection and renewal. Focus on &#8220;Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things&#8221; (Philippians 4:8)</p>
<p>Move past the inner chattering mind. Invite an experience of peace that comes from stepping away from the selfless conversations. Give God space to speak, welcome him in. Be present when the spirit of the Lord is speaking to you. Follow the four C’s COMMUNICATION: Listening to God, COMPREHENSION: Understanding what God says. CONFIDENCE: Trusting in what God is doing, CHANGE: Being transformed by the word of God.</p>
<p>In order to have a constructive conversation with God, it takes two. You must be able to hear the questions he asks you and the instructions he provides. If we are too busy leaning on our own understanding and having unproductive conversations, we will miss the landmarks he gives for us to arrive to our destination. </p>
<p>Habakkuk 2:1-I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give…(Habakkuk 2:1)</p>
<p>The Bible tells us to meditate on God&#8217;s Word. Our thoughts determine our behavior and what we think about is very important. Don’t miss the message by tapping in the wrong source, tuning in to the wrong station and being turned off spiritually. Here are three times during the day that you can be tapped in, tuned in and turned on to God&#8217;s Word. </p>
<p>1. Before you go to sleep at night, make sure that you have God’s word be the last thing that occupies space in your mind. </p>
<p>2. When you wake up, before you hit the ground running, start your day with God&#8217;s Word, let that be the first thing to occupy space in your mind in the morning.</p>
<p>3. Dedicate a specific time each day to be in God&#8217;s Word so it can speak to you throughout your day, try lunch time or after work. </p>

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.</p>
<p>Proverbs 18:21<br />
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. </p>
<p>Isaiah 55:8-9:<br />
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You&#8217;ve been laid off a job, a relationship has changed, death, you have to move to a place you don&#8217;t know anyone, a cause you have stuck by has abandoned you, etc. How do you think of all the potentially life altering things that happen in life? The world reacts with anxiety, depression, suicide, violence, destructive behavior, low self-esteem, running away, fear and so many other symptoms. Yes, it is healthy to grieve but don&#8217;t stay there.<br />
What about the new job or the opportunity to start your own business, what about the new relationship you now have time for, what about finding ways to celebrate the life of a person, what about the new possibilities of a new place to live, what about being thankful that painful abandonment has allowed you to find your own strength, resolve and peace.<br />
ALL things work together and the prerequisite is that you must love God and be functioning in His purpose for your life. Rom 8:28</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When God increases our capacity (resources, favor, wisdom, giftings, peace, and (fill in the blank)) it’s the best feeling in the world!  We feel like you’re on track with your purpose and we are cool with God.  So we are planning our trip to Vegas, making power moves and just soaking it all in.<br />
Stopping here is how we get in trouble.<br />
You see pressed down, shaken together, overflowing (Luke 6:38) is not so we can get excited for our own gain, but for what God can get through us.  Am I saying give away your whole paycheck?  Only if you feel the Holy Spirit prompting you too and trust me you will know.<br />
However, there are causes every one of us feels passionate about and touches our soul every time we see it or hear about it.  We feel that way not just so you can have a moment with yourself, but because you are being prompted to make the situation better whether giving money, resources, time, a kind word, whatever is in your capacity.  Let’s all practice being givers.</p>

<p>Philippians 4:8, gives us God&#8217;s guideline on how we should think. &#8220;Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable&#8211;if anything is excellent or praiseworthy&#8211;think about such things.</p>
<p>According to 2 Corinthians 10:5 it is our responsibility &#8220;to take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.&#8221; So today take back your mind. Give negative thinking it&#8217;s eviction notice. Time for renovation and reconstruction of your thoughts. Remember when you change your thoughts you change your world.</p>
